If I'm not mistaken, TSO has no problem adjusting to a different screen size
when you reconnect. ISPF, however, is another story - it does NOT adapt
to a different screen size, so you have to exit all ISPF logical screens,
and sometimes you can only use PF3 or PF4 to do it.
When you're back to the TSO READY prompt (or a LOGON CLIST),
you can re-start ISPF with the new screen-size.

Yes, it would GREAT if ISPF detected that you changed the screen size of your
terminal, and was able to change its behaviour accordingly. I suspect that
it would be quite complicated, so I'm not too optimistic that IBM will do it.

BTW, the screen-size I use most of the time is 54x132.
Sometimes, I switch to 40x132, so I'm quite familiar with this issue.
