And, you have to have them configured in RSVD. (IBM has recommended, for years, that the reserved CP's be the difference between the maximum configurable and the current online). CA, for example, has each logical CPU serial number in its licence keys. SYNCHSORT, as another, allows 60-90 days before the product(s) expire. Others "don't care". You will have to call (or get somebody to) call all your vendors.
