How can I distinguish the STC running under MSTR from the one running
under JES?

have JCTs and are viewable under SDSF.

That particular ST of yours is probably (as mentioned by another list
member) just not running under JES, but under MSTR.  It does not need a
JOB
statement, and putting the STC in the library won't help you as far as I
know.
