This happened to me a while back. Intermittently I would see this from a LISTCAT ENTRY(xx) command. The 448 is, I believe,the last three chars of 16448 which is X'4040'. It was looking to me as though there was some corruption of R15 at the end of the command. The command executed normally in my case and was followed by the message below.
Does your command execute, ie produce output? Does this happen on other files, is this in batch or TSO?
