Since you only specified an address (not a symbol which has a length), the length would be defaulting to whatever your SETDEF command default length is (4, if you haven't changed it via the SETRDEF subcommand). IPCSDATA ACTIVE will show you all of the parmlib stuff for your IPCS session. The LISTMAP subcommand will also tell you about things that IPCS has already figured out and put into its storage map. What is the structure name that does work? Where does it show up in the output of IPCSDATA ACTIVE ? Does the structure name show up in the output of LISTMAP, or is the address in an a range that shows as being mapped in the output of LISTMAP?
