Restore? My recollection is that DIRF came before TSO. Besides, SVC 99 *IS* Allocation.
IAC, all it took was allocating a new dataset to get the cleanup: //IEFRDER DD UNIT=SYSDA,SPACE=(TRK,1) in a simple proc would let the operator select a volume for cleanup select a volume for cleanup on a START command. -- Shmuel (Seymour J.)
