Restore?

My recollection is that DIRF came before TSO. Besides, SVC 99 *IS* Allocation.

IAC, all it took was allocating a new dataset to get the cleanup:

//IEFRDER   DD  UNIT=SYSDA,SPACE=(TRK,1)

in a simple proc would let the operator select a volume for cleanup select a
volume for cleanup on a START command.

Why didn't Restore just SVC 99 to automate the process?
