​And so the z/VM people put the z/OS people even more to shame. I guess the
z/OS people really want to stay with 3270 type terminals. I would consider
this a conspiracy with the 3270 manufacturers, but nobody makes real 3270
type devices any more. Visara make some nice stuff which looks like a 3174
to the z box (ESCON attached) & can even coax attach a real 3270 terminal
or a PC with a 3270 emulation card, or via TN3270E (so your TN3270E
connected PC looks like a local 3270).​
