Brian, The "FROM:" email address for System Events comes from the "Console Name" and "Domain Name" entered onto the Customize Network Settings for this HMC. If you don't specify a domain name (blank), then the default domain name is "IBM1". So, assuming your Console Name is P64HMC1 and the Domain Name is blank, then the "FROM:" address should be:
P64HMC1_EventMonitor@P64HMC1.HMC1 You can change the second "HMC1" by setting up the domain name to whatever you want, although you may have to make changes to more than this HMC to keep everything consistent. What is unusual is that you are reporting something different (...@HMC1.HMC1). I suggest that you actually open up a problem ticket (On the HMC, do "Report a Problem" and then select "Health Check"). IBM Support will then work with you to collect data should there be a real problem and they can also help to make sure a change in the domain name doesn't cause any problems with other HMC(s) and/or systems that you might have.
