That's kind of open-ended. Does the PL/1 program do things that can't be done on CMS (without appropriate program product support (such as internal sorts or VSAM-database access))? Are the required runtime libraries still on VM? How is the app failing? Abend? Loop?

They dropped the PLI Compiler on VM as a cost savings, but after a year found this application that needed to be changed...... Anyway, they have compiled the code on MVS, transfered the Text deck over to VM and are attempting to do a LOAD xxxx GENMOD xxxx xxxx But it's not working, does anybody happen to have a crib sheet on this kind of thing? or a suggestion, other than getting a VM PLI Compiler?
