Good idea and I thought of that one. In a well regulated environment where ISPF is always called using ISPSTART (or even ISPEXEC) then this would work.
Unfortunately I have found code instances where different EXEC's are used for the invocation.
Similarly, I had thought of monitoring the links to ISPVM 192 through RACFSMF but this, again, is not a comprehensive check in our environment.
It is strange because most VM development here is reasonably well controlled and consistent but, because ISPF was only occasionally used, it seems to have been done however the developer at the time (long ago) felt like.
