HOSTS LOCAL & Company are deprecated and have been replaced by ETC HOSTS which - supports both IPv4 and IPv6 - doesn't require compiling with MAKESITE Name resolution is performed according to the DOMAINLOOKUP statement in TCPIP DATA.
