And chiming in with results from a 62x160 TN3270E terminal using "IBM
Personal Communications WorkStation Version 5.8 for Windows" with similar
results. It enters PEEK (even on short, narrow files) without problems,
PF3 or QUIT causes a disconnect.

Trying from an SNA connection, goes into PEEK without problems .. and
works perfectly inside and comes out to CMS without a disconnect at QUIT.
Something seems wrong with the TN3270E session processing. Hmmmm.

Re: Max size 3270 screen

I have also noticed a problem with disconnects while using "Mod 5"
sessions on my z/VM 5.2. I was waiting until I resolved more pressing
matters before addressing the issue. I also thought it was my emulator.

I was able to duplicate the problem on zVM 5.2 and x3270 on Mac OSX, so
the problem is probably not in the terminal emulator.

49x160 worked, but 52x160 worked until I hit PF3 in peek, at which time my
terminal session went away.
