what does the file DEFAULTS DATADVH show for 3390-03 and for 3390? in EXTENT CONTROL try specifiying the DASD as 3390-03 and/or add a line: 3390 3338 in the :DEFAULTS section of EXTENT CONTROL David Kreuter
