Here's the L3 LAN:

PERSISTENT  UNRESTRICTED  IP                        Accounting: OFF


Here's the L2 LAN:

LAN SYSTEM L2LAN        Type: QDIO    Connected: 2    Maxconn: INFINITE
PERSISTENT  UNRESTRICTED  ETHERNET                  Accounting: OFF

I'm *pretty* sure (but not positive) that the lan definitions predated  
adding the NICs to TCPIP....
