DISCONNECT_TIMEOUT is not an idle user timeout. That value is used when there has been a terminal (i.e. 3270) I/O error or a disconnected guest goes into CP READ or VM READ. It is also known as "The Timebomb". Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
