Hi Thanks for the replies so far. Just to clarify my question:
I was trying to expand on what Matthew Donald had posted. My guess is that I need to run a 64 BIT O/S for Hercules because from what I've read, z/VM needs at least 3GB of main for the z/VM evaluation. If that is true, I don't have a 64 bit capable processor (I'm on a Dual Core Intel T5800 with 4GB of RAM). My other box is similar running Ubuntu release 9. If someone can lay out the minimal hardware and O/S for a suitable test, I'll have to shell out for the hardware and stay with Linux which seems to work fine for the other Hercules emulations.
