Hi,
Personally, I don't keep the IPWIZARD setup.
There are few considerations about IPWIZARD in the new TCPIP Program
Directory, Level 610.
If any error occurs during TCPPARMS processing, TCPIP do not start.
Example: when we define 2 sets of OSAs, and only one is available at a
time (Disaster Recovery setup).
After first time of TCPIP's activation, I comment the :attach. line of
DTCPARMS and put DEDICATEs on directory. No more problems.
And the PROFILE TCPIP constructed by IPWIZARD must be changed by other,
based on model supplied (ft= STCPIP). See Program Directory.
My friends (and co-workers) generally don't read this manual.

Leon,

Glad to hear you're using the book. Hopefully it is helpful, but perhaps
not as much so in this example.

It is not mentioned, I agree. The IPWIZARD should handle the OSA devices
being attached to TCPIP by putting an entry in SYSTEM DTCPARMS on the
TCPMAINT 198 disk. I would expect it to have added the following, given
your OSA addresses:

:nick.TCPIP :type.server
               :class.stack
               :attach.A000-A003

Do you see this on the TCPMAINT 198 (D) disk?
