I have to change some DEV ATTACHes in our TCPIP PROFILE Exec in preparation for new OSA ADDRs in our IODF for our new z/196.
What is the best way to implement this? I suppose I can logon to TCPIP AC ( noprof and create a backup copy of the PROFILE EXEC and then change the original DEV ADDRs. Is this correct? Best Practice? Also what would the fallback be in such a situation?
