>>> Let me share something... I bought a pair of custom deerskin breeches at
auction, two pairs actually... I can't wear anything since. ;)

The deerskin IS comfy and luxurious, no doubt. BUT, if you've never worn
them, you'll have to keep in mind that, while the deerskin does have a
little "give" to it, you will lose some of the stretchiness of the breeches.
As I said before, I can still wear size 30's in other styles, but not in
these.

And I absolutely CANNOT wear the deerskin full seats in our humid summers -
I melt. They are fine for me in the early spring and late fall. I am
hanging on to my pair of Equissential arctic fleece tights, just in case I
ever get motivated to lose a little weight.

If I ever get another pair of the Equissentials, I will get just the
extended patches, not the full seats. But, then, I'd expect to lose some of
the pampered feel of deerskin. So, maybe I'll just stick with my cheap
cotton summer-weight riding tights and Irideon fleece tights for winter.
I like being able to wash and dry my riding pants without much special care
anyway.
