I wonder what would happen if the TWHBEA for instance, started calling
all easy gaits "walking" or the RHBAA would call all easy gaits
racking. would actually be simpler and actually better for the horse
since people would stop trying to get horses to do gaits they aren't
naturally able to do. Would actually be awesome. But hard to judge
one against the other in a show arena, like apples and oranges. Is
actually how the RHBAA began. because walking horses that racked
could not win ribbons. So they started their own registry and there,
in their arena, walking horses who dont rack dont win. so actually,
where all this came from, is the show aspect of gaiting breeds.
