There are days, Phil, when what is pleasant to the list isn't as high on my list of priorities as what's right for the horses. Usually, that's about 365 days a year. We've been discussing the downsides of tight nosebands for as long as I've been on the lists...and during this time, the rules have only gotten more lenient, and harsher tack keeps creeping into the rules and into the shows.
