It's probably not as important to developing a good secure seat if you are used to riding in a treeless - I think riding any treeless where you can feel the horse's every move really helps. But, compared to a bareback pad, the Sensations offer a lot of security. I have been working on youngish horses for a couple of years now, and I want to get back to working on my riding - my balance and seat. I've only done a little of the Parelli-type passenger games in the past (actually I did it first with another "natural" type trainer, before I ever knew of Parelli) and I'd like to get back to it.
