For any program, I think a consumer needs to have a certain level of knowledge to be able to judge the program, see what parts they want to use, and what parts they don't want to use.
You don't have to buy into every thing in any one program. Things change over the years. If PNH horses are having pinned ears and bothered tails, something is wrong, but is it the program? or the application of the program? Perhaps it has become too competitive and people are rushing into using higher phases and more equipment, rather than working on "feel" and patience and increasing their knowledge of how to ask softly.
