He gave the reason himself by giving the number of GMail
subscribers to this list only.
Except the number of recipients to a message was not the concern.
The concern was that pretty close to no SMTP sending site uses the SMTP
multi-recipient feature. That was overwhelmingly noted as an
operational reality.
