Um, you can fly YYZ-NRT/NRT-MNL on AC and NH in about 20 hrs. The return flight is about 18 hrs, same route. Any chance we've forgotten about the International Date Line? I see coach fares of about $1200 which is not bad for such a long trip. >From YOW, it's not surprisingly 2-3 hrs more with another connection, but there's a reasonable route on DL via Detroit and Nagoya for only $917, 22 hrs out, 21 hrs back.
