hi Peeyush,

i reinstalled/ reconfigured postfix and that warning is not coming now.

but this time i am having another problem :

i have installed postfix-2.0.11-5 on fedora core 1

i am unable to telnet port 25, here is the output :

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# telnet localhost 25
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.

i don't have Iptables or any other firewall installed.

what could be the cause?
