Tentative plans are to hire an auditorium somewhere on that day and have a stall a la LinuxAsia 2004. With an auditorium we can also have running talks and snakes and cha.

August 25 is a working day. What I suggest is that we hold the celebrations in some college. This is provide enough baali ka bakaaras (err .... audience) and also save the trouble of setting up a network and hauling around heavy equipments. Maybe we can even have a install fest.

Colleges which have BIT/BIS/MIT/B.Sc. (Comp Sci) can be approached with requests for donating their labs for a day.
