Umm... do you want to re-implement the examples in the book so that they can compile cleanly using FOSS tools ? A question thus remains to be asked is - what if you do re-implement the examples to make them FOSS compliant and put them up for others to see and use ? Examples being based on algorithms - wouldn't they be prior art ? I am not a lawyer and thus just asking. Might you want to poke the Alternative Law Forum on this too ? :Sankarshan - -- You see things; and you say 'Why?'; But I dream things that never were; and I say 'Why not?' - George Bernard Shaw -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGCLQhXQZpNTcrCzMRAtlYAKCiRmjFqtOAl0RaKh7TJjwBCZT3wwCgiJDb SVW14d8KfOxh3cIRUYb23bM= =4uG/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
