Thanks! Usually our ``volunteers'' have to be dragged kicking and
screaming into performance of their duties, refreshing to see one who
puts his neck on the block with a smile on his face ;-)

In this specific context, the legal questions that came up are:

What are the legalities of running an Internet Radio with free content
(content given to you to play by the labels or, in some cases, the
original artistes)? This is specially relevant in light of the RIAA
move to get all Internet Radio stations to pay them royalty, regardless
of what content they (the stations) play.

What are the differences between the agreements that need to be gone
into to set up a AM/FM radio station vs an Internet Radio station. Are
the legalities different? Do different laws govern Internet and AM/FM
radio?

I appreciate that many people on this list may not be too keen on these
topics -- if you aren't please make a noise and we can shift to the
Cyberlaw or GII mailing lists.

Regards,
