I guess I feel that if you are longing for Glow or Birds of My
Neighborhood then you should get out those disks and listen to them!
They are both treasures. I don't need more Birds of My Neighborhood or Glow
because the innocence mission has already given me both, and I can enjoy
them for the rest of my life.

They are artists, and they've moved into a different place with their music.
I like to imagine it is a reflection of their changing selves/lives. And
I'm grateful to them for sharing that with us.

I'm enjoying Befriended. I'm finding it beautiful, soothing, and sweet. Like
a hug, or an afternoon nap, or time spent with dearly loved people.

This is exactly what I was afraid of. Small Planes had this problem outside
of "Too Early to Say". I was hoping for the return of Steve and a producer.
I
love the band, but this will be the first album of theirs I don't buy.
