Colleen, you've just made me smile! I'd like to say (and technically I really don't count because I haven't heard the new album yet) but reading all the reviews on this list (which is a wonderful thing, I don't discount any opinion and i feel it's good to hear them all) but I have to say it's been a little disheartening. I too would like to hear them play a couple more songs reminiscent of those on glow and umbrella...but like Colleen said, grab them out and play them! They've been given to us...how fortunate we are! I welcome the idea of Steve getting back in the band. I can only imagine what kind of music they could make with him if he were to return... especially after Karen, Don and Mike have been able to evolve so. I think any musical path they decide to take will only be to their betterment. What I appreciate in their music is that they play what feels right to them That reflects their personal thoughts and emotions. That's what makes their music so meaningful. If they were to put out something with a drum trip, and they weren't ready for it, I believe it would reflect that and turn out to be very disappointing. So that's why I'm still looking forward to the cd! In my stressful world I can always use a soothing chain of songs, if I want a swing in tempo I'll grab from the hundred other cd's I have!
