If you make your backups as, for instance Stuffit archives, just transfer
these to the PC and burn them to a data CDR. Data CDs (ISO 9600) are
universal -- just keep the names of files in the 8.3 format or you'll see
the files in backup~1.sit, though they'll still expand and restore properly
on a Mac. Also works with transferring data files like PDF, TIFF, EPS that
have cross-platform support.

Anyway, if you have a CD burner it almost certainly was bundled with some
software like Adaptec/Roxio's Easy-CD, which is sufficient. There's an app
"Macimage" at http://www.macdisk.com/macimgen.php3 which creates Mac and
hybrid CDs on Win (haven't used it).
