My Question is: Will the iMac Firmware Update 4.1.9 damage the Rev:D iMac ?????
With all the recent postings about keeping the iMac Firmware up-to-date has got me a little paranoid. I have an iMac Rev:D (M7389LL/A: 333MHz Tray Loading Strawberry) with OS X 10.1.5 running. All stock hardware, including the 160MB memory and 6GB hard disk. When I upgraded to OS X 10.1 I upgraded the firmware with the iMac Firmware Update v1.2 that came with the OS X 10.1 package. This included iMac Firmware 3.0 (apple-option-o-f shows 3.0.f2). Now I am worried that this firmware is not recent enough if I increase the memory and replace the hard disk with something like a 120GB. -LD -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
