Tray loading means that your iMac has a tray that pops out, and you put a CD
onto the tray, and push the tray back in.  Slot loading means that there is
a slot in the front of the iMac, you just push the CD into the slot, and it
gobbles it up.

So yes, The Rev. B is a tray loader.  (Unless someone replaced the CD drive
with a slot loading mechanism, which is unlikely, they aren't
interchangeable between old and new iMacs.)
