I'm looking at my OS 9.2.1 cd right now and it has a iMac Firmware Update 1.2 for iMacs, and it has iMac Firmware Update 4.1.7 for slot loading iMacs. I installed this one on my 400 MHz grape iMac DV. no problems. But I have not installed OS X.2 and after reading all of these posts, I don't think I will until this is cleared up!
