It won't work with AT&T Broadband.  I have that and had to
explictly get them to register another MAC so that I could
use my (old) Linksys router that didn't have a programmable
MAC.  If it did work elsewhere, they probably haven't gotten
around to tightening down things.  A good rule of thumb: if
they don't ask for a MAC when you sign up, you can probably
hook up several computers.
