I bought it long before upgrading to OS X. UMAX now charges $42 or so for an upgrade, and there's no mention of a driver for OS X. It works just fine under Classic. Never noticed any difference in speed between this one and my SCSI scanner, but then again, I was using the SCSI scanner on my PowerMac 7600. I only use it a few times a year, so it's just fine for me. Bought it used on eBay for about $35 a year ago when I got this iMac. Except for not having an OS X driver, I'm quite satisfied with it for what I use it for. Gerry -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
