This might be a little OT, but my wife, Cathy, works with a non- profit animal rescue org here in southern California and the outfit <http://www.chihuahuarescue.com> (*warning*- the site has some really heart- breaking stories- I'm still having nightmares about some of them) is a Mac- based outfit and the CD drive on their strawberry tray- loader iMac is kaput. The iMac is a vital component in their activities and we're looking for a replacement drive. We'll pay for one, regardless, but I thought to ask here if someone has a working one on the cheap or they can donate for a tax receipt.
