Subject: Re: Memory questions
Does anyone have experience with either of the following 2 companies:
1. Omni Technologies
2. 1-800-4-MEMORY
They are both selling 512mb memory for $70 and 256mb for $22.
Thanks,
Dale
I got a 512MB chip from 18004Memory shortly after I got my 800mhz
iMac in February 2002, and it's been running fine since. Started with
9.2.2, moved all through the X.1, .2, .3 and now running 10.4.1.
Remember that officially there is only one user-serviceable memory
chip in the flat-panel iMacs.
