I have an iMac DV 400Mhz w/ 512Mb of RAM 30Gb HD. I recently purchased
OSX3.9 and with it came iLife '05.
Okay, halt right there. Two problems with this statement:
1. Apple has NEVER sold a CD containing 10.3.9.
2. Apple has NEVER included iLife 05 with an OS package.
Given these two facts, I'd be quite interested to hear the full story
of where you obtained this material. To say that it doesn't sound
quite legit would be understating the matter.
When I try to install iLifeit says there
were errors and it doesn't finish the install. Does anyone know if
this is
because my computer doesn't meet the requirments for CPU speed on
iMovie,
Garageband and iDVD? Or should it install but just run slower? I'm
wondering
if there is something wrong with the disc as this was a used set
when I
bought it.
It sounds to me like you got suckered. These are most likely pirated
or homeburned discs and it should hardly be surprising that they
don't work properly.
And if the sale is suspect, the buyer it must be said is pretty
suspect as well. Buying software you know perfectly well your machine
can't run??
And now you want free tech support???
Here's a suggestion: buy a legitimate copy of the software you want,
and if you still have problems please do write back.
