Hi there: I'm kicking around the idea of trying to convert some VHS tapes to DVD, but know nothing about it. I get the idea that there are DVD recorders that will do this (like the Sony DVDirect MC5) but apparently that one doesn't use the computer at all and there's no way to add track/chapter markers etc. There's also something called a "video capture card" but I know even less about those. What's the received wisdom on how to do this, without spending any more $ than absolutely necessary, and with the ability to do jut the most basic editing? As always my thanks in advance!
