April,
Having been "bitten" by this "inadvertent feature" on two occasions,
I do now save to the clipboard a copy of any message that has taken
some time to compose -- BEFORE clicking the SEND button.
That procedure has saved my bacon a number of times. We include
this tip in our user education.
