Hi Ron,
I saw this nice link you send , and the top banner
took my attention ... Why? , because when I tried to do with the current
templete using imail server advertising facility I surprised that a silly
trailer appears at the botom of the page which I never see in your
demo.
So What is the ability to show advertising banners
at the top without this trailer ?!
Thank a lot,
Waleeds

Subject: RE: [imail] losing work when
Composing
April,
We feel
your pain. The timing out while composing a message was probably the biggest
force driving us to develop the framed version (http://killerwebmail.com:8383) and
popup the new msg composition window in a new screen.
After we
launch v2, we'll get to work on the v1 frameless set, and incorporate a
similar pop-up while composing, and have the underlying page refreshing every
5 minutes or so to keep the session fresh.
Unfortunately, Ipswitch has given us no control over
the 12 minute timeout, so workarounds are all we have.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [imail] losing work when
Composing
I
spent an hour writing a great letter to a client in the Compose mode. It was
set to save a copy in SENT, cc'd to myself and 3 of my employees. Upon
hitting Send Message, the screen flickered and put me at login.
I
have not received any copy, there is no copy in SENT, there are no DRAFTs at
all.
I'm assuming this is again due to the Imail time-out
issue???
I'm on my own puter, cookies activated, no page expiration
option. Have been leaving this secure mail window sitting here running all
night on the VIEW mail page which checks every 5 min, then sat down to do a
reply this morning.
I carefully clicked back. no page. said my only
option was refresh. i refreshed, came to login again. At that point I logged
in and checked for Sent, Draft, etc.
It's not just for my sake but I
can just picture my customers in similar situations. I can and almost did,
do a swipe of the form contents and at least put it into the clipboard.
Frankly my concern was that my puter might lock up, leaving me w/no record
of the letter, and clipboard wouldn't have helped. I never imagined that
Webmail would not only not keep the msg in draft but not send it either, and
just demand a re-login.
UGH.
Any help or suggestions on
settings ... otherwise we need to BRAND that compose page with a big warning
for my customers SAVE TO DRAFT EVERY (HOW MANY MINUTES??????)
