What errors can be found in your SMTP and W2* logs? > I don't know much about VBScripting, but I'm thinking maybe > it's something > erroneous in the code that when executed causes the service to > hang and not > an overload. There is no VBScript in either IMail or KillerWebMail. The code in KillerWebMail is Imail tags (the same as the stock templates), and HTML/JavaScript (which execute on the client-side and CANNOT cause server problems - unless of course they're stuck in some horrendous loop, which would be immediately noticeable). KWM has been around since Sept of 2000, and is installed in over 1,000 locations worldwide. I seriously doubt if all of a sudden it is responsible for Ipswitch's iwebmsg crashes, but I am keeping an open mind about it, and appreciate any feedback and CONCRETE EVIDENCE (see log question above) users can provide. > My servers have only been up for about 5 months > with close to > 700 users. What are your web messaging settings (keep alives, thread pooling, etc.)? -Ron ______________________________________________________________________ The HKSI-IMail Admin List is hosted by........
