I'm
still running 6.06 as well and have no plans on upgrading. Since v 7 came out I
have seen nothing but issues on the imail lists. I can't see spending
thousands of dollars just to get more issues. My users are happy and wouldn't
get much additional benefit from an upgrade anyway.
Killer
Web Mail is the best thing to happen to iMail anyway. But even that has
it's limitations. Trying to figure out that JavaScript for customization is a
nightmare. It's probably not Ron's fault but that code is like spaghetti! Now
that we have everything working well I would hate to start over. Hell I'd rather
build something from scratch than go through that again.

Geeze. I was just about ready to make the
upgrade, now I think perhaps not. Am still running 6.06. I know
there's no longer support for it, but I'm not have any trouble. I have
7.06HF2 running on an old, inactive server. I don't care for the
Calendar, don't want to get stuck fielding questions about it from
users. How long might the mailbox conversion take on around 7000
mailboxes, some are rather large, a few are upwards of 200+
MB.

to upgrade [Imail 7.05HF2 / KWM Hotfix 2.09]
If you don't have problems I would leave it alone, I am @
7.06 HF1 and Iwebmsg is still crashing, I sent ipswitch what is happening
in my logs at that time (obvious errors related due to crash time) and
got a generic "install HF2" answer. I expected as much and planned to
anyway but they didn't indicate it had addressed my errors. I was stable
back at 7.04 or 7.05 but I had to upgrade because of complaints on
attachment problems I was getting, now the attachments seem fine when the
process stays running

[Imail 7.05HF2 / KWM Hotfix 2.09]
I am reluctant to upgrade as
everything currently runs pretty smoothly. I recall people complaining
about having to restart Webmail after it stops responding. The only
problems I really have are sometimes the Webmessaging client has a
multiple second delay on log on and sometimes when sending outgoing
email. When this happens I usually see a
Auth Error x.x.x.x -
not in the table X78289c939ac892c822abab8b.
in the auth/error
log. Any comments or suggestions?
Best
