Can someone explain to me why IPSwitch ops not to simply have IMail use the
OS configured time and DNS settings. What could be the reasoning behind the
separate time and DNS settings in the IMail Control Panel applet?
Just wondering...

Same here. I tried several things. I set the Imail Time Zone to -0600
as suggested by someone here and that had no effect either. I
have been getting a few complaints about it lately.
