I would expect a program that is having serious difficulties to post an error 
to the NT event application (or possibly system) log.  A pop-up message on 
the screen would also help.  More importantly, what does the program do to 
the existing mail when it runs out of space?

     And were is Imail supposed to store this error message? Perhaps, when
 some low-disk threshold is reached, it could send out warning messages to
