This is an excerpt from a knowledge base article:
"You have IMail installed in the c:\program files\imail directory. This will
work for
some of the basic program BUT things like the list server, paging
option AND the Web Messaging
WILL NOT WORK from there. There cannot be any 'space' in the path
to the program files.
A customer suggests: Simply change the existing paths in the
registry to the EQUIVALENT short
(8.3) style name.
e.g.: "Program Files" ---> "progra~1"
Thus your software sees the install path now without any spaces,
accessing
the files through their equivalent shortname path, for example ...
c:\progra~1\imail\
I stopped and restarted both my POP and SMTP services ... and they
now work PERFECTLY!"

It is in d:\program files\imail but why would it cause this problem? It
just doesn't make sense.
Looks like the send is happening at the specified retry time, but not as
soon as a message hits the queue.

What is the path IMail is installed to ?
If it is installed to a directory path with a space in it, you would see
that type of behavior.
IE C:\program files\IMail

We just installed (first time) IMail version 6 and it looks like the
messages are staying in the queue way too long. They do send and receive
but it is taking forever. If we go in and manually send the messages
everything goes where its supposed to. Any suggestions?
