One of my users (ok, ok, it was me) upgraded from Eudora Pro 4.2.2 to
Eudora 4.3 today.

Now, Eudora 4.3 cannot send to Imail 5.08 where Imail has "(unchecked)
Disallow SMTP AUTH reporting" and Eudora personality has on its Sending
mail panel: "(checked) Authentication Allowed". If I uncheck the latter,
the mail leaves.

With the latter checked, the task window shows "status: connecting to the
Mail server..." an "details: AUTH CRAM-MD5", until time out.

This worked fine with Eu 4.2.2. (and I thought I was being prudent waiting
until Eudora 4.3 got outta beta test)

So, be warned. Eudora 4.3 has a new "free-with-ads" mode that makes it
very attractive, since it is a very fine mail client to be free. Mine is
paid up version. It's the same executable but it sniffs if you've got a
licensed earlier version.

I've never had any joy emailing Qualcomm / Eudoara, so if Ipswitch has any
inside contacts over there, it would be great to get this resolved.
