[IMail Forum] LDAP

I am using an external database with iMail.  I add the First name and Last name via a 
web form to the external database. 

1. Why does the complete name show up in the FIRST NAME field in the manager

2. Why are externally added users NOT available through LDAP?

I assume there is some kind of seperator used other than a space that allows iMail to 
differentiate between First name and Last name as they are stored in the same field, 
but the manager can separate them IF the user was added using the manager. Otherwise 
both names appear only in the First name field and they are unavailable to LDAP.

I have tried initialising the LDAP db, etc.  No luck.
